Rikki grew up in central Illinois, where she learned to love the endless corn and soy bean fields. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from the University of Evansville, she eventually moved south to Baton Rouge to attend law school at Louisiana State University. After practicing employment discrimination and environmental law for a few years, she made a career change and worked as a policy director for a political campaign. In 2016, she moved to Beaufort to work at the Conservation League’s South Coast office, starting as a project manager and eventually becoming the South Coast Office Director. In 2020, Rikki relocated to New Orleans with her husband Jordan where she now works to support our North and South Coast offices while also providing legal analysis for the organization. Outside of her work for the Conservation League, she is also a yoga teacher and enjoys gardening, cooking and cycling.
