In Beaufort County, we are lucky to have our local Rural and Critical lands program. On Monday, January 22 you can join the Beaufort County Open Land Trust and The Trust for Public Land to review the latest data on the economic benefit of land protection in our county. As growth pressures mount, specifically in Jasper County and along Highways 170 and 278, we support the program as it makes strategic investments to protect land and improve water quality throughout the Port Royal Sound watershed.
