Next Wednesday, the South Carolina Conservation Coalition, the group of conservation organizations from across the state, will present the coalition’s legislative priorities to the South Carolina Senate at the annual “Conversations with Conservationists” briefing. It will be in Room 105 of the Gressette Building at the State House complex in Columbia.
A big crowd in the room lets the Senators know that the public cares about conservation. When Senators will face key votes on transportation reform, protecting Captain Sams Spit, and standing up for the laws that protect our drinking water and clean air, they need to know that voters care about these issues. Members of conservation organizations like you make a difference at the State House.
