Two Offshore Drilling Rallies and Press Events Tuesday for Trump Administration Offshore Drilling Hearing

Charleston, SC – On Tuesday, February 13, elected leaders and coastal interests will speak on South Carolina’s opposition to offshore drilling. That day, the federal Bureau of Ocean Energy Management will hold its only South Carolina hearing on a federal proposal to open the Atlantic Ocean for oil and gas drilling.

Because of the depth of opposition to offshore drilling in South Carolina, advocates for our coast will hold two press conferences on February 13.

Who: Representatives from industries affected by offshore drilling including tourism, real state, fishing
