Green Fair Music with a Message Contest

The Coastal Conservation League is partnering with the Charleston City Paper to bring back the Music With A Message Contest!!

Guidelines/Rules:

Performers please upload your video to our Facebook Fan Page showing us how you care about the earth, to the video section of the fan page starting on Sunday, August 15th.

Voting starts immediately and the top four bands with the most “likes” will be featured on the Main Stage at this year’s Green Fair with the grand prize winner opening for our headliner, the Steep Canyon Rangers!

Voting will CLOSE on August 30. Please keep your video around 3 minutes. Max 5 minutes. Also, keep your video clean. CCL reserves the right to remove any inappropriate content or comments from the fan page and your entry will not be counted in the contest.

Contest winners will be announced at the Barn Jam at Awendaw Green September 1 and announced on the Music with a Message Facebook Fan page September 6.

The performance day is live at the Green Fair- September 26 at Marion Square. There is also a cash prize to the top four!!

So put together your best material, get creative with your message and help us save the planet (if only for one day). More details will be coming soon, so stay tuned and feel free to spread the word.
